This shows the level of inner conflict of bi-racial kids. Torn between the hatred. He surely loves his mother and grandparents and hears this hatred form his pastor.
What can he really say or do besides plead that we all just get along???

What can he really say or do besides plead that we all just get along??? For one thing, he could have spoken up sometime during the last 20 years to mention that he disagrees with Wright's hate-laced racial haranges.

That in and of itself is an empty platitude.
If were serious about healing race relations, Hussein (as the living breathing tri-racial, tri-continental melting pot) should have made a call for forgiveness.
However, all we get is 'Rev. Wright is a black thing - you wouldn't understand.'
Forgiveness, indeed.
