If that's his speech, he's about to crash and burn. He passes off the issue as a "distraction" and urges whites to get past their racism.
And his white grandma is racist - made poor babh hussein cringe.
Cry me a river...

This shows the level of inner conflict of bi-racial kids. Torn between the hatred. He surely loves his mother and grandparents and hears this hatred form his pastor.
What can he really say or do besides plead that we all just get along???

Not once in my conversations with [Rev. Wright] have I heard him talk about any ethnic group in derogatory terms, or treat whites with whom he interacted with anything but courtesy and respect. ... I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me,... but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.IOW...Black Wright is not Racist. White Granny is Racist.
One of the primary points of Wright's screeds I've read is that "Black Racism" is not really possible. Seems like the student agrees.
