I saw the interview while it was being broadcast. The questions were “good” but the most important questions were not asked:

“Mr. Obama, do you really expect the American voting public to believe that in the 20 years that you attended that church that not one time did you hear the anti-America comments?”

“Do you really believe that the American voting public is so gullible and stupid to believe that?”

Re: Faux News.....

I have heard others on FR rave about Faux News. I suppose I must be further to the right than the other posters are. I find Faux News to be just as leftist as some of the MSM.

As soon as they agree to “interview” the likes of sHrillary, BJ Klintoon, “Shakedown” Jackson, “Race Pimp” Sharpton and now Barry, then they are immediately giving them credibility.

They should all be ignored by Faux News. “Fair and balanced” is a figment of their imagination designed to lure unthinking people into believing that Faux News is “conservative.”

FOXNews does not advertise itself as “conservative”, it’s just called that as a perjorative by the left. Fox has interviewed many RATS and not treated them with kid gloves as the rest of the media does. That’s why RATS are reluctant to appear on Fox. Remember bill clinton’s tantrum?

BTW, keith olberman also calls Fox “Faux News”. Maybe you’re more of an olberman fan?

I agree with you except that all of the other MSM are so far left, it makes Fox seem centrists.

Could not disagree more. They get as close to fair and balanced as is possible. Some times they go a little to far left sometimes to far right. They never claimed to be right wing. The fact that the Democrat candidates would not hold their debates on Fox News says legions to me.

They should all be ignored by Faux News. “Fair and balanced” is a figment of their imagination designed to lure unthinking people into believing that Faux News is “conservative.”

Last week I canceled my 180 channel satellite package and went down to the 45 channel basic package to save a few coins each month now that my retirement income dollars are shrinking faster than a $5 cotton shirt. One of the channels in the package that I canceled was Fox News.

My wife asked me if I wasn't going to miss Fox, and after thinking it over for a about one nanosecond I said no, not at all. I had just then realized that I seldom watch Fox anymore for any longer than it takes for it to cut from a LA freeway car chase and go to one of it's model agency supplied reporterettes after she finishes scraping enough makeup off her lacquered face to read a minute or two of "news" before the next five minute commercial break comes on accompanied by a blast of extremely irritating, ear-splitting, drum thumping, nerve jangling, electronically synthesized noise disguised as "music".

When you add to that the Fox staff of supposedly conservative news readers typified by the male version of Katy Couric disguised as Shepard Smith who mangle any sensational tabloid style news reports that come in and usually involve either rock stars with Mohawk hair styles and Satanic tattoos, or half nekkid Hollywood celebrities and their hangers on and then give their obviously uninformed opinion on that so-called news, you begin to realize that Fox News just aint what it's cracked up to be.

Of course I'm referring to the daytime version of Fox, and when you come to the evening edition shows which are best represented by Brit Hume's hour, which is seldom blessed with his presence BTW, it becomes somewhat more tolerable. But since I haven't shown any signs of withdrawal tremors, or suffered any relapses into fantasizing about Shepard Smith strapped on a medieval torture rack and surrounded by grinning, bent over old men with red hot iron pokers clutched in their bony hnds, I don't think I will regret losing Fox News too awfully much until the upcoming recession is done with recessing. And anyway, I may go back to the 180 channel package after the recession has played itself out if I have any more inflated dollars left in my forlorn bank account. But if I could swap off Fox News channel for a film channel featuring anything slightly more entertaining than an endless series of reruns of black and white depression-era Bowery Boys films I would jump at the chance.

I totally agree with your “FAUX” News analogy!

I just can’t force myself to watch them anymore!
