An (almost) airtight alibi, refuting the charge that he was present in church and nodding along last summer when Wright indicted the United States of White America. So much for Newsmaxs credibility. People were ripping on me in the comments to the Juan Williams post for having called the Messiah a shrewd politician but just look at the game hes got us playing here trying to place him physically at the scene of any single sermon at a church he patronized for 20 years, as if absent that evidence we might have to believe his feigned ignorance. Newsmaxs info was bogus? Well, maybe he really didnt know after all!
Actually, I like this explanation better. Wait for it. About halfway through.

Sorry, don’t know. It would probably take a FOIA request, and you’d get an answer in a few years.

El Zibo and many conservatives have only one objective in this election: Defeat McCain at any cost.True!
...and how very pathetic it is that so many people cannot see this.

Doug, wouldn’t local police have to coordinate with the SS? ... Couldn’t their records be more accessible?

Hillary only won Ohio because the contest was between her and Obama, not between her and McCain. ... and PA?

Yes, I suppose locals would have the info, but I doubt that they would release it. The best shot is probably a news search day by day.

I guess you didn't forget the
sarc/ tag I asked you about on an earlier post.
IMO continuing with pushing this past almost believability just makes conservatives look bullheadedly stupid.

According to this article Obama attends the 11:00 service.
http://www.suntimes.com/news/falsani/726619,obamafalsani040504.article
“These days, he says, he attends the 11 a.m. Sunday service at Trinity in the Brainerd neighborhood every week — or at least as many weeks as he is able. His pastor, Wright, has become a close confidant.”
The article is from April 5, 2004.

Saying he wasn’t there for THAT particular sermon doesn’t mean that he was unaware of his mentor’s (Obama called him that) racists views.

Seriously, the Newsmax makes the National Enquirer look like a respectable publication. People get on Debkafile case, but their accuracy rate puts Newsmax's to shame.
I suspect their thinking went something along the lines of this:
"I've got an idea! We'll make up a story about Obama and claim we'll release the goods on Monday the 17th. We'll get a HUGE number of web hits!"
"Uh...yeah...but...what happens when the new (and old) visitors realize that we tricked them and we're full of BS?"
"Ah, don't worry yourself about such trivialities. It's all about the web hits."

private jet, police escort for traffic, possible. If he took a private jet shouldn't there be publicly available records of the jet taking off and landing that day. Perhaps flight plans submitted by the pilot or airport records at either of the airports?
