From what I am reading, Obama's new defense is that quite coincidently, in the 20 years he has been a member of this church, he happened to not be in attendance any time Wright preached racist sermons. He happened to miss each one of them and had no such idea they even happened..

He might be able to deny being in attendance during the rants... but he CANNOT deny his $22,500 contribution to the “church” in 2006 (the only year I have seen a figure for, SO FAR).

$22,500 sounds like an absolute endorsement to me.
