GGG Ping.
Bump for later.
If they meant 1000 HZ, this might be more believable.
At most this would tend to say the ancient megalithic sturctures were either built by our human ancestors or for them.

If such frequency related shifts in information processing occur, and the frequencies and harmonics identified, what is to stop people from taking advantage of those frequencies for the purpose of manipulation of a mob (population), whether it be in an ancient forum (Caeser), a megalithic structure (Hitler), or digitally on your television???
Maybe the tinfoil-hat bits about the masons aren't so far off after all, when the architecture controls the acoustics, which might control the ability of the crowd to process data, but now that could be done by any good sound engineer with the appropriate electronics...
Speculation, fun, but a frightening premise as well...
When I toured Ireland, I saw several 11th century churches with “whispering arches.” Apparently these were used as confessionals during time of contagious diseases. The arches were 7-8 feet across, but if one person stood on one side facing the stone and whispered, the other on the opposite side could hear the words clearly.
Harmonics...
” the resonances of the chamber cavities might have been intended to support human ritual chanting.”
Might, hmmm! Then again, might not!
Money spent on foolish research could be well-spent in other places.
Similar acoustic resonance specs indicate similar room sizes. So, meeting rooms tended to the same size...and this relates to chanting? Did these folks get their degrees from Harvard lib arts faculties? Duhhhhhhhh!
Not good, and not fairplay, so the targeted people just have to be tough and more discerning than the manipulations, personally guess.
While on the topic of paranoia, when the television shows a rapid sequence of images or background patterns, sometimes look the other way in case there's some subliminal message or hypnosis attempt. Improbable, and acting in such a manner is quite paranoid/tinfoily, but there's little downside to averting gaze for a few seconds, and in the off chance there is a subliminal message, then the aversion was the proper move.
On the topic of political intrigue, the Capitol rotunda has something similar due to the elliptical shape of the room. If you stand at one point and talk, some guy at the other locus can hear, although people closer to the talker might not.
I recall being subjected to such image barrages in Junior High School, and there were probably subliminals in those. I did not watch the whole thing, as they gave me a headache.
I have seen that when the camera gets all 'jiggety' with different angles and zooming in and out, it seems as if there is often little to see, and the camera tricks are there to keep your attention (or try to) when there really isn't much there.
I don't watch shows that pull that cheap trick, but I don't watch much TV anyway. I have grandchildren if I want to watch something that won't hold still...(8^D)
Not just size, but shape. Acoustics can be manipulated through geometry, and size is only one factor.
Have you ever heard recordings of Tibetan Buddhist monks chanting? Some of them chant at frequencies lower than any note one can hit on a piano.
By the way, does anyone here know of an online acoustic generator that I can access, to hear a tone of 110 hz? I’d like to see what it does.
I haven’t heard any chanting. There is an annoying background sound at home just about all the time, but I’m sure it’s at a higher frequency than 100 - 110 Hz.
Yes, a sound -- or a rubber ball for that matter -- passing through one foci of an ellipse will rebound off of the wall and pass through the other foci.
