A BRITISH soldier who almost single-handedly took on 150 Taliban after he and his 50-man convoy were ambushed in Afghanistan has been awarded the Military Cross.

Not sure as to exact stuff I had but every pin and detent, spring etc was done on that little SW37 with a bobbed hammer........ I remember putting it back together and the cross pin into the lug under the front barrel where the lock up was for the ejection rod had to be worn down a bit with some 6000 grit cockpit cloth to get it back in. Very nice and after decades of daily wear and tear it is just polished smooth in places vs worn off to reveal the alloy frame or steel barrel etc .......very good stuff !

Have ya heard of the use of Line-x truck bed liner on old surplus wood stocks like Mex & Swedish Mauser’s ? Awesome fit and finish and really nice !

It makes perfect sense to me. Only engineers would need to know that the 81mm mortar was actually 82.
