As I think I heard it, because he asked for the woman to be brought across state lines, it is a violation of the 1920’s Mann act and that makes it federal. Of course we’ll hear how archaic that law is and given his non-statement statement, he’ll be coming up with all sorts of reasons why he should stay on to finish the job. It smacks of Hillary’s “You know, I have so many opportunities from this [state].”
