ALBANY - Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been caught on a federal wiretap arranging to meet with a high-priced prostitute at a Washington hotel last month, according to a person briefed on the federal investigation.
An affidavit in the federal investigation into a prostitution ring said that a wiretap recording captured a man identified as Client 9 on a telephone call confirming plans to have a woman travel from New York to Washington, where he had reserved a hotel room. The person briefed on the case identified Mr. Spitzer as Client 9.
Mr. Spitzer today made a brief public appearance during which he apologized for his behavior, and described it as a “private matter.”
“I have acted in a way that violates my obligation to my family and violates my or any sense of right or wrong,” said Mr. Spitzer, who appeared with his wife Silda at his Manhattan office. “I apologize first and most importantly to my family. I apologize to the public to whom I promised better.”
Democrat presidential material he is.
I bet he could put our economy back on track and maintain peace in the world like we had in the '90's, eh?
I wonder how Spitzer would feel if his daughters were servicing men like the ones he used.

No I’m not defending the women but at best I’d expect a former prosecutor to be mindful of the law for God’s sake.

I did here on Fox that one of the bills that Patterson wants instituted is that police can not shot to kill when fired upon. He wants them to shoot them in the leg or arm instead.
I saw this twice in NYC. Both times I was in cab with others, sight seeing. The cabbies loved it and said that it was a fairly normal thing. That was in 1964 and 66.

NY Lt Gov Paterson is an extremely liberal Democrat who received the Democratic; Independence; and Working Families parties nominations in the 2006 election.
Someone mentioned that the daughters are going to be in therapy after this. It’s very possible. I also wonder what kind of father he’s been all along. The poor kids are not starting out with a very positive view of men or marriage.

Perhaps they tote the boots in preparation for the sh!t they know that they someday will have to walk through because of dad.
