I think that's what societygirl was referring to as "being silly" (i.e. parody).

The original phrase was "In like Flynn", referring to Errol Flynn. It was itself a purported double-entendre, referring not only to his swashbuckling adventurer style, but also his ledengary bedroom conquests and his equipment relating thereto.
