I'm confused Dan. According to knowledgeable posters, and the California Department of Education web site, a private school, exempting public school attendance, apparently only involves the annual filing of a simple form.

All the fuss over this case of alleged child abuse, not involving education, appears much ado about nothing ... which makes the Austrian even more callus.

Apparently these parents elected to lie to the State of California, were caught and are now facing loss of their privilege to privately school two of their children at home
