You guys line up now for the picture. Older members looking for ladies in the back row and fashion contestants in the front row. Say Cheese!

Assemblyman Cameron Smyth introduced legislation last month that would allow foster teens to enlist in the service without express permission from a judge. What are the chances of such a bill surviving in the Kalifornia Assembly?

Ahh but you forget, they are smarter and better than us. we must be instructed and controlled by them because only they know the difference between right and wrong.

Both of your two sides have merit for further discussion, but of the two, the judge’s decision is WAY less reasonable.

What are the chances of such a bill surviving in the Kalifornia Assembly? Pretty good chance of passing, actually. As cracked up as our state government is, you'll find that they actually support the military in this state - kinda hard not to, as it brings a lot of tax money into the state coffers.

In denying the Royal High School student delayed entry into the Marine Corps, Children's Court Commissioner Marilyn Mackel reportedly told Sage and a recruiter that she didn't approve of the Iraq war, didn't trust recruiters and didn't support the military. Mistrial!

The judge was stupid to interject her moronic political views into this decision. She could just as easily have said that it was a matter which could wait the however many months remain until the young man is 18 and left it at that. The appeal is pointless since it would likely take longer than his coming of age. Judges also routinely make unjust rulings against those they know can’t afford an appeal. Just because they can.
This dumbell set herself up for possible removal (hopefully) from the bench by shooting off her mouth about her personal views. Actually, she’s labelled herself an “activist judge” openly and publicly.

a Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner dashed the foster teen's hopes of early enlistment for Marine sniper duty, I am at a loss as to why this was before a Superior Court.
I would think that something like this would have been before a family court judge or a Juvenile Court Judge.

Well, Sage, you are almost there - be patient, son, and when you hit 18, send her a card from boot camp. It might read, “one round, lock and load” or the sniper saying, “one shot, one kill.” Semper Fi from a Hollywood Marine - ‘69-’72.

yes indeed, and these types of judges need to be impeached. They are going beyond upholding the spirit of the law and are ruining our country. Especially the supremes who have run over our constituiton with a mack truck while the weak congress refused to impeach the baby killers. That’s what those who voted for Roe are, plain and simple. They can repent and find a new life, but in the mean time they need to be thrown out on their butts...if any of the existing roe supporters are still on the court?
