What some folks inaccurately refer to as "replacement theology" has essentially been the uniform theology of Christs Church for almost 2000, until a few of semi-literate "Bible teachers" as ignorant of Church history as they were of theology decided what their followers needed a more Judeo/Israel-centric view of the Bible. Thus the children of futurist dispensationalists like CI Scofield popularized this new theology and demonized their opponents by coining the phrase "replacement theology".
You can see this errant and aberrant Judeo/Israel-centric theology all over places by TBN from the like of John Hagee and his ilk.
Oh well, I was just trying to help.
Hope I can help.
“”Bible teachers” as ignorant of Church history as they were of theology decided what their followers needed a more Judeo/Israel-centric view of the Bible.”
Since almost all of scripture was written by Jews, it therefore should be relevant to have an understanding of Jewish perceptions and customs.
