FYI: on the search page, this is at the bottom:

"Limitations: Only article titles can be searched and words with three or fewer letters are not searched at all."

John, will you be restoring the user post search when the other priorities are settled? That's a vital link for many of us. Also, is it possible you could put "search" somewhere at the top of the Forum page? Thank you.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Say you wanted to see all my posts? If so, click on my name, then 'in forum'

Alternately, go to your own profile page, and type my name in the top right to get to my profile page, then click 'in forum'

I'll see what I can do to advertise the search links. The little "go box" in the upper right corner can do user search and title search, but the way to do that isn't obvious yet (and I haven't solved that yet.) Anyway, title:article title here will give you an article search, and by:user name here will give you a user search.

You can also use it to jump to other pages on the site. For example, do:mail will take you to your inbox and do:pings will take you to your pings. All major pages on the site will eventually have do codes.

Also, the field is pre-filled with the code that will take you back to the page. This is to advertise the functionality of the box.

By the way, going to see about adding a google:search phrase here to perform a Google search of the entire site. Hope to have that in before bedtime tonight.
