But even when seeing the users posts, it is now just the threads they are posting on, not their actual posts anymore, therefore one must click on each thread?
Correct? Is that what you are getting?
This is a huge difference, and not a good one.
Has FR responded to this complaint? (I haven’t read the whole thread)
Thanks!

You should see this
Weight Count Style
Under style, you can pick colors or “swatches”, which are mystery colors you have to choose to see what they are

It's not the change but the almost total loss of ease of use. Font is too small. Harder to search. I have to squint.

we just gotta hang in there til all the tweakings done ..;)There was no need for any "tweaking" of FR, IMHO. It wasn't broke, so why "fix" it? If this continues I may have to take a little "vacation" from this site...

Thank you for the help but I’m still not getting it. I’ll work on it more at home. If I go to “comments” tab and put by:synchro, I get posts-test. If I try other people I end up with either test, or articles (even when I’m on comments). Seems the only one that works is when I put by:ozarkgirl. :)
Thanks again. I’ll keep working on it.
To: roses of sharon
I found that if you do the "by:poster" search, when you get to the thread page if you click on the "comments" tab, it will give you the recent posts of that poster and the live link to take you to those posts.
Hope it works for you.

That still doesn’t solve the problem, because it makes the change universal.
I just want the sidebar back to the same small font size is was on Monday. I don’t want the whole page blown up to massive font size or shrinked to tiny characters just to get the sidebar back to its previous font size.

This is a disaster. The fun has been taken away from navigating the site. “New Posts to You” is so small you have to look for it, let alone there are red keywords below it.
The search box is so tiny I can't see what I'm spelling. I'm not going to enlarge all of my text to accompany this.

It worked great!
Thanks so much for the help. I really need to spend an evening working on this, lol.

Click on "more",
That only works if one has more than 'breaking news' in their subscriptions.
My point was that the Popular Words and Browse By Forum should be moved to the bottom of the page. On my computer screen, those 2 boxes cause the Breaking News [my ONLY subscribed forum] to show up below the scroll, so I have to scroll halfway down the page [a full screen] to see the first Breaking News entry.

sidebar...The teensy, pale, crammed-together print
Hey! How did you get that????
Mine is just the opposite. It is almost as large as that comment in post #632.
I'll trade you my huge font sidebar for your teensy one. LOL

Returning a search bar to the top of the Articles-Activity-Comments page would be nice.
As always a search by author would prevent double postings where titles change. And a date search would be wonderful.
