Yeah, and I also read that they made their children do the dishes. Monsters! Monsters I tell ya.
There are as many reasons to Homeschool as there are Homeschoolers. And while the "snitches" part was poorly written, I can see that as a valid reason. We live in a time where children have been paid by school officials to "snitch" on their peers. Thus, creating generations of kids who have no loyalty and no trust. Again, jmo.

Yes, and it could be that the “snitches” part was something that the judges found really odd because of their political viewpoints. Or it could be that it was an oddball comment out of context.
My point is, without reading the unpublished portions, there’s a lot more to the story that we’re missing.

Yeah, and I also read that they made their children do the dishes. Monsters! Monsters I tell ya. To compare making children do dishes with sexual molestation is SICK! To imply that physical treatment leading to hospital care is merely corporal punishment is ridiculous.
I'm accused of being a vile libertarian on FR, yet I don't advocate wholeheartedly throwing support to a group just because they fight for what I believe. I believe the government should stay out of the way of parents who want to educate their children--yet it must be involved in actual abuse and neglect cases. The problem is, the lines are blurred by cases like this, allowing overreach.
