The Egyptian police uncovered 1100 lbs of explosives and 40 landmines in the past week, a source in the Egyptian security forces reported Tuesday.
The caches were found in two separate locations near the Egypt-Gaza border and were meant, according to the source, to find their way into Gaza Strip. (AFP)
