Palestinian youth caught with pipe bomb at Hawara checkpoint

A search of a Palestinian youth at Hawara checkpoint, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, uncovered a pipe bomb. The bomb was detonated in a controlled environment by IDF soldiers.

KARACHI - While responding positively to the Pakistani government's offer of peace talks, the Pakistani Taliban have demanded the release of several key personalities in return for the Taliban freeing about 250 security personnel they are holding.
The Pakistani Taliban's list includes Maulana Abdul Aziz, a prayer leader of the radical Lal Masjid (Red Mosque) in Islamabad, Mullah Obaidullah, a former minister of defense under Taliban rule in Afghanistan and Muslim Dost, a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner now in Inter-Services Intelligence detention. In return, the Pakistani Taliban have offered the safe return of 250 security personnel from their custody.

IDF: Hizbullah continuing to gather Iranian, Syrian arms

A representative of the IDFs Intelligence Branch said during a Tuesday meeting of the Knessets Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Hizbullah is continuing to arm itself with Syrian and Iranian weapons, and that security personnel remain on alert for a retaliatory attacks for the assassination of Hizbullah commander Imad Mugniyah.
The IDFs Chief of Staff, Gabi Ashkenazi , is also expected to address the committee.
