AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
I think we can agree they are both pretty lousy and can continue to enjoy watching the Rodents duke it out.
“I think the supers force Hildy on Obama because, with these wins she got last night, she storms in to the smokey back room and starts screaming about how its clear only she can win the big states.
IOW, she uses Electoral College math on them to counter delegate math.”
Most of the dem establishment wants to be rid of the Clintoons as much as we do. Once they are given some cover they’ll turn on her in a heart beat. She can’t do electoral college math w her negatives, she isn’t liked by her own party operatives (feared maybe), and Obama would be an idiot to weigh his candidacy down w her baggage. This is over but for us to enjoy the dying gasps of the Clintoon dynasty (for a few years anyway) and the infighting going on. You can’t buy this kind of entertainment.
My husband has never heard of him either.
WOW- what a disappointment re: Thune.
COMPLETE agreement about Rice.
Wow. So many whiner babies in this thread.
BINGO! Excellent points!
I didn’t say the courts would hear it-—indeed, they have NO authority to, as you said. My only interest is in seeing Obama have to resort to that :)
I wish some people could relax. Some people think Rush Limbaugh has way more influence and power over the electorate than he actually does.
I don’t think anyone tells McCain anything. He probably lost a roomful of votes with that constant urge to drop a stink bomb on even the slightest bit of fun (even when it’s the TRUTH). The problem is that McCain has had a major fidelity problem himself (with Miss Cindy having little room to laugh herself), so he is sympatico with men with a roving eye evidently. That has been his weakness and if he thinks the Democrats are going to handle him with kid gloves, especially if the maritally steadfast Obama is the nominee - he’d better put on his asbestos suit. In fact, if that McCain attribute is publicized much, the hordes of scorned Republican wives in this country won’t even bother to get out of the house on election day. His foul mouth and his morals, despite his pompous self-righteousness, are wearing VERY thin with this gal!
Check my history. And then apologize.
Thanks for trying to defend me...but I am capable of independent thought and will call Rush Limbaugh a fool when he is one.
Rush is wrong in his desire to keep Hillary alive. I know this because I have been a dedicated listener for more than 15 years and NONE of his proclamations about the Clintons and their political machine has been right.
Rush is an ego driven entertainer. He sees the MSM as his enemy. And when his ego engages that struggle he voids himself of all common sense and political acumen.
It's just who Rush is.
Thanks. Mxxx
And RDS is???
Indeed. We need to pray and pray often for the direction this country may go if these people get in. Brrrrr.
Thanks, Brandie. It sure gives me more peace than I had before to know and believe that. Mxxx
Howdy.
Just saw your post late this evening. I’m originally from Topeka. Grew up there. Your hobby farm sounds fun. We’re looking forward to being home sometime this spring. And even with this horrible housing market, we are averaging one showing a month on our current house. Not too bad, not all good though.
Plus both Rat candidates are going to get billions in free media because the race is prolonged, while-—as Rove said last night-—McCain fades into “yesterday’s news” for a while.
You are mistaken that it is all about delegates.
The Witch gaines a lot of power as a result of winning those elections.
She now is MUCH better positioned to argue to the superdelegates that only she can win the big states, that she deserves a do-over in FL and MI and so on.
She may not have won delegates, but that’s almost beside the point at this point. The math isn’t there for her. But she walked away with nothing? HARDLY.
These wins gave her BIG-TIME boosts behind the scenes, the only place that counts for her right now.
And she’s only playing pattycake with Obama, not “fracturing the Rat party.” Get real. This very morning she floated the obvious, that if she gets the nomination (through backroom deals, see above), she is more than willing to have Obama on the ticket as a consolation prize.
Don’t you see how this deal is going to go down? It has nothing to do with delegates at this point. That was over a long time ago, but she’s running on a different strategy now and Rush played right into it.
Rush got played like a fine violin.
Been there. Every time I hear Rush pronounce about the Witch now, my mind goes back to the year or before she ran for the Senate and then won.
Boy, was he ever wrong, wrong, wrong. He has been consistently wrong about analyzing the Witch. Maybe it's his general lack of good luck with the ladies. :)
