Makes sense; politics at it’s best. You’re either in the “club” or you don’t get elected. It’s becoming more and more true every day, sadly. In Kentucky, you can write in anyone, but....if you’re a Republican for GODSAKE do not hire any Republicans to government jobs. I hear it can get you unseated. (Our Republican governor just got unseated last year because of a ***merit hiring**** scandal; not that most people could follow the specifics of the allegations).

Well I don’t believe too many Freepers thought McCain should pick Cheney.
That would be just dumb.

Go for it.

I don’t listen on Sunday nights, but I’d imagine it got a whole lot worse after the dust up. Just my guess but that’s sort of Billy’s personality....

Why waste time listening to Cunningham on Sundays when
John Batchelor is on from 4pm to 10 pm pst.
He is for the adult folks interested in politics and world affairs and has the best guests on.
A regular guest is Amb. John Bolton.

There was a thread re: Obama stating no lobbyists for his campaign then the Pharmaceutical lobbyist popped up as his head NH guy in the campaign. Someone posted a list of donors by companies/lobbies.
As far as what I have, i’ll send you a taste so you can dig some.

I could skip to the polls with glee.
But we won’t be that lucky.
Plus Santorum came out against him big time.

Shemp Smith is perfect.
When he stole a CNN parking space in FL in the 2000 election recount by standing in it I lost all respect for him since.

The question is, are there any Conservatives that McCain hasn’t cursed out yet, that he could pick?

Either way, it’s not going to matter. McCain will win if he faces Obama, lose if he faces Hillary regardless of whether I write in a living person or dead person. In Kentucky, the write ins don’t get tabulated unless it’s a close race and I don’t forsee either Hillary or Obama having a close race here.

I agree, but McCain does not care, he will never change...and after these primaries I wonder if most Republicans are not conservative, but RINOs just like him.
