Frick un Frack, I thought demoncat curmudgeons had invaded my ‘puter an messed with ‘My Preferences’, so I went in there today trying to fix it, but nothin would fix it.
Now that FR is back to normal, the dog can quit standing on its head and meowing (he really gets frazzled when FR isn’t chugging along properly).
How do you get “Comments” to actually, like, you know, show COMMENTS, rather than just the headers??????

No, it’s not getting labeled activism, it just all comes up on the same page. Used to be like that a long time ago.
Every leap year they work on re-doing the site. Be patient.

I always have clicked on the ‘free republic’ at the bottom of this page [or the top] and get to the ‘front page’;

Then I would either click on latest articles or latest posts on the left side under Topics.
They are both the same to me now. No latest ‘comments’. I need to reread to see how to change it.

Shouldn't that be: “Perhaps the ſentiments contained in the following pages are not yet ſufficiently fathionable to procure them general favor....” using the proper "ſ" (short crossbar) instead of "f" (long crossbar)?
Thank you. I didn’t log in much today because of the new format. Now I clicked on “Comments” and bookmarked it.
Use: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/comments until FR goes back to normal in a week or so just like it did back during the last part of the NFL season.
This latest improvement to FR reminds me of Microsoft’s XP to Vista improvement : )

Headers Only Brief listings showing the title of the thread, to whom the comment is addressed (if addressed), the numbered sequence within the thread, the date and time, and the posting user's screen name.Message Bodies Full listings include headers and the bodies of messages.
Even with "Message Bodies" checked all I get is the headers.
Habeus Corpus (show me the body) please?
