It is the only explaintion if you believe in creation and do not want to reject basic astronomy facts.
That light DID take millions of years to reach us from the Andromeda galaxy.
Look, science has it’s methods. Faith has it’s beliefs.
If you want to make them both work together or reject one instead of the other. Great.
That is up to us all to decide for ourselves.
Ping.
And to that I will agree.
THANKS THANKS.
..”the white stuff is frozen CO2.”
That’s dry ice “for those of you in Rio Linda.”

Even at temps and pressures on Earth, along with the humidity and CO2 concentration, plain old ice evaporates.
Dry ice has a much higher vapor pressure and evaporates even faster.
Can somebody please rotate the image to it’s correct orientation?
I’m getting dizzy.
Well, dizzier.
“A lot of what we see there hasn’t changed for millions of years.”
“And you can prove this how? Where can I get one of these telescopes that can look backwards in time?”
You don’t need a telescope to do that. Using a telescope only enhances the image you’ll see with man-made optical hardware. That’s why the HST operates ‘above’ or outside of the earth’s atmosphere. Photons take time to reach the optical nerve whether or not you’re observing a celestial object like the moon or your hand right in front of your face (no rhyme intended).
“Dry ice has a much higher vapor pressure and evaporates even faster.”
Those ice caps aren’t fogging things up the way you see dry ice behave on earth. That’s how cold it is on the N pole of Mars. Maybe there’s frozen CO2 below the ice’s edge where it gets a little warmer during the day. When it starts to expand it has a heaving effect on the rocks sitting on top of it. Maybe that’s why you see more of a red cloud of dust than you would a white cloud of vapor.
Lots of maybes here. Just goes to show that science doesn’t have the answers. Only conjecture.
