Good God...
Dementia of the old man?
This is in my neck of the woods....and from what I “heard” ...... the driver who hit Mrs. Nalls was drunk... which is why he didn’t stop to render aid.
Sounds like it was the other guy’s fault:
“Renteria was arrested and charged with felony failure to stop and render aid.”
Poor family. Prayers for them all.

drunk.......and illegal?
What a shame.
prayers for the family.
I hate to say that it wouldn't surprise me...
“Dementia of the old man?”
That was my first thought. And I wonder if the lady that was killed ran a red light or too fast and caused the accident.
Oh, ok. Thanks. Probably illegal to boot.
Terrible.
Prayers Said.

Wow..
Neighbor shoots kid for walking on his lawn, Mom rushes kid to hospital, and she is killed after colliding with someone, (most likely an illegal alien) and this guys leaves the scene of a brutal accident and is arrested?
Wow...Nice neighborhood.
I’m guessing “felony failure to stop and render aid” is commonly called “hit and run” involving an injury accident. I’m willing to bet a large sum that this turd was an illegal. As a cop in phoenix I can tell you 60-70% percent of hit and runs involve illegals.
Another Norwegian doing the "work" Americans won't do, I guess.
I heard on the news over the weekend, that it’s against the law to carry a concealed weapon in Texas? That you are only allowed to have them at home? Is this true???
You need a permit (shall-issue, easy to get for the law-abiding) to carry a concealed pistol upon your person in Texas. Open carry of a pistol is illegal. Open carry of a long gun is permitted with the usual restrictions (can’t bring it into a school, court, prison, etc).
However, you may have a pistol or long gun (or as many as you wish) in your car and your home and your place of business without a permit or any government permission whatsoever.
Whoever said that CCW was illegal in Texas was an idiot and needs to be beaten by a gang of illegals chanting “What’s the frequency, Kenneth?”
I have no doubt. They do it here because they know there's a chance they might get away and avoid deportation. In Mexico, they run because an accident is an automatic ticket to jail.
When I visited Mexico back in the 80's...we were going to rent a jeep to go sight-seeing. The guy who owned the rental shop told us to abandon the car and run if we had an accident.....for we'd probably get a lengthy jail term....no matter whose fault it was. We decided against the rental and rode a tour bus instead. :)
A few months ago, I was reading an issue of my old hometown newspaper. It listed a prior DUI checkpoint the state police had set up on a major highway artery and the names of all those charged. One name was not hispanic and that person was charged with DUI and actually had a driver's license and insurance. The other 10 had no license and no insurance, and one had a warrant for the same thing in a neighboring jurisdiction.
