I’m guessing “felony failure to stop and render aid” is commonly called “hit and run” involving an injury accident. I’m willing to bet a large sum that this turd was an illegal. As a cop in phoenix I can tell you 60-70% percent of hit and runs involve illegals.

I have no doubt. They do it here because they know there's a chance they might get away and avoid deportation. In Mexico, they run because an accident is an automatic ticket to jail.

When I visited Mexico back in the 80's...we were going to rent a jeep to go sight-seeing. The guy who owned the rental shop told us to abandon the car and run if we had an accident.....for we'd probably get a lengthy jail term....no matter whose fault it was. We decided against the rental and rode a tour bus instead. :)

A few months ago, I was reading an issue of my old hometown newspaper. It listed a prior DUI checkpoint the state police had set up on a major highway artery and the names of all those charged. One name was not hispanic and that person was charged with DUI and actually had a driver's license and insurance. The other 10 had no license and no insurance, and one had a warrant for the same thing in a neighboring jurisdiction.
