KING Staff and Wire Reports
WOODINVILLE, Wash. - Four large homes are burning at a "Street of Dreams" model home development north of Woodinville. Snohomish County District Seven Chief Rick Eastman tells KING 5 that a sign saying ELF was left at the scene.
ELF or Earth Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for other arsons, including one at the University of Washington in 2001 for which a woman is now on trial in Tacoma.
KING
A massive fire burned at least four large homes at a "Street of Dreams" model home development north of Woodinville early Monday.
No injuries have been reported in the three-alarm fire, which started around 4 a.m. Monday.
Eastman says some of the homes were still under construction. He said one is a total loss and two homes are substantially damaged. He says fires also were set at a total of six homes.
Eastman also said that the fires are suspicious because they were set in multiple places in separate homes.
The Street of Dreams is an annual showcase of luxury homes in the Seattle area. The latest development is off Highway 522 at Echo Lake Drive.
Eastman says police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating.

Where is that statue located? Its disgusting!!!!It was pointed out in a previous post that it resides in Murtha's district of Seattle. That was a form of denial coming from a Washington resident probably too ashamed to admit it existed anywhere in their state.
Wyoming is a big state, but I can assure you, citizens would take the full day needed to drive across our state to pitch an egg at it during it's unveiling.
When good people do nothing....

Or as South Park put it:

Bart: Isn't that, like, terrorism?
Cartman: No, it isn't *like* terrorism, it *is* terrorism."

These eco terrorists probably have free Costco Cards given to them by the liberal Costco Board.

I saw KIRO TV’s local news. I showed the builder of the $2 million house that was just sold. This house has received international attention for the “green” technology put into its construction. Even the paint had no toxic chemicals used. It was a labor of huge effort and man hours to make such a house as a definitive statement for energy efficiency, the use of recycled materials, and consideration for the environment in its placement.
Let’s face it, these enviro-wacknuts would go ballistic if they thought there were too many angels on the head of a pin. They hallucinate environmental offense like a schitzophenic hallucinates instructions from Harvey (the dog that David Berkowitz heard telling him to kill).

This development project was a different Street of Dreams. It was a development with a huge investment in environmentally friendly, “green” technology. That is the irony of this eco-terrorism.

There is one problem with the theory that the builders wanted to torch their own investment to collect on the insurance. These homes were selling.

An authentic statue of Vladimir Lenin, rescued from Eastern Europe, now stands at the corner of 36th and Evanston in Fremont.

Your theory about the builders torching their creations to collect on the insurance is flawed. These homes were built by different builders. Why would they burn all of the homes? Why not burn the home they were losing money on?
In this case the theory goes up in flames. One $2 million home was sold. I am sure the others will have no problem selling. These are not the run of the mill homes.
To: GVnana
These homes were different. They were built with extraordinary attention to their placement in the natural environment. If you saw them, you would be awed by their beauty. One of these homes had sold for $2 million. For some of the corporate execs who work in Seattle, this would be bargain prices for what they get.
To: RobRoy
"I cannot confirm this but someone mentioned that of five homes sold, only four were burned and the surviving home is the one that was sold. I watched the builder of that sold home on my local Seattle news. He was devastated. He put a lot of loving effort building this state of the art house. The house had won international attention around the world. The Eco-terrorists burned it to the ground too. He was heartbroke that a buyer who paid $2 million was deprived of a one of a kind home that will never be seen again.
I watched other builders who also lost homes. The hurt and anger in their faces could not be described. If this was an insurance fire, why did someone burn down the pride and joy of other builders? These builders wanted the best of their building achievement to be enjoyed by owners.

Liberal is not exactly the word that I would use.
Antichrist - Globalist is a bit more fitting.

I think I’ll take up a new profession, providing security for these “Steet of Dreams” developments.
Seems there’ve been at least 3 of these fires in the last 10 years, or less.
(Although, I believe the last one was determined to have been set by somebody working for a security firm....or, was that just a movie plot???)

Only thing I can account for a local doing it is some wierd, wealthy person's kids who grew up with everything including a scholarship to Evergreen State except mom and dad and are taking it out on builders.
There.....I fixed it for you.
Obliged. Knew there was something missing... Course I could also have added "and including a first rate political indoctrination courtesy of Jim McDermott"
