Bigger proliferation risk than F-16s, especially the smaller man portable variety. Also marginal against SU-30s.

If we sent F-16s, we’d also have to train the Colombian pilots. Quite a difference between F-16s and Kfirs and Mirages. Also, consider how long it would take to train the pilots to proficiency in the F-16.
