I live in Ohio and am in a bit of a quandry. I do not care very much for McCain, but will probably hold my nose and vote for him in November if he chooses a true conservative as a running mate.
The fact that I hate Hillary and Obama is without question.
My quandry is this: McCain has the Republican nomination, so I'm thinking about voting for Hillary to help keep her in the race. From my perspective, keeping her in the race will severely damage the dimmocrap party for months to come.
It may also lead to Obama supporters staying home in November if she wins the dimmocrap nod.
The problem is, if she wins, I will not be able to sleep for four years.
THAT should be the one factor in anyone's decision to cross over and vote RAT. In the event of a McCain loss, which of the two Rats would you rather see in office?
We see this differently. Either way, for me the real objective is to erase the possibility of a win by the clintons at the earliest possible moment because to do otherwise keeps open the possibility that they could, by however remote the odds, be back in the Whitehouse. For me, this is the worst possible outcome among those currently available, or imaginable.
As much as I respect Rush Limbaugh, I echo the earlier post: “Drive the stake home now.” What gives me nightmares is all the people that Hillary will bring into her cabinet and other positions. What she did to the travel office the first time around will be repeated on a grand scale.
If you have to ask us, you probably shouldn’t vote at all.
Yes, we want Hillary to win OH and TX so that she and Obama are deadlocked at the convention. It will split their party in 2. If obama wins on Tues, then the race is over and the Dems will circle their wagons around him.
Vote for HIllary! Never thought i’d say that.
The longer the two spend their campaign money, the better. Every dollar they spend now is one less they can spend against us later.
Vote obama you put life in her you’ll regret it. Obama is beatable.
Hillary just said she has given “hundreds of thousands” of speeches in her life. I did not catch the channel. Anybody see it? is it possible?
“I say, “No,” unless you actually support her. Screwing up someone else’s primary is an immoral opposition tactic.”
No it’s not, it’s the only tool you have.
The primary and General elections are the hand we were dealt, and if you CAN screw the primaries to finally put someone into office THAT REPRESENTS YOU, - THEN you have done your job as a voter.
Doesn’t seem that “sueing in Texas” or resurrecting the Florida primaries is bothering Shillary at all. And what happened to “one person” - “one vote”, sort’ve kinda puts “Super delegates” in to perspective doesn’t it. They are screwing with the elections, just as hard and fast and loose as they can.
I’m from Nevada, and Harry Reid embarasses me everytime he opens his mouth now.
He runs against no-one anymore, but I’m hoping to get my Conservative and Repub friends to completely re-register as Demos, so we can vote in the Nevada primaries, and shoot him down, and then vote for whomever we want in the General. We may even have to run a shill candidates...
Unethical - probably, immoral - maybe, BUT IT GETS THE JOB DONE. And I can assure you, I’ll sleep just fine.
If we don’t do something fast, we’ll be called “East China” or “North Mexico”.
Which do you prefer, the RED pill, or the BLUE pill?
We do see this differently, because not only can I see Hillary soundly defeated in the general election, but as an added bonus, taking the Democrat party down at the same time due to what Obama supporters will perceive as the shafting of Obama. If his supporters in the rest of the country are anything like the mindless minions in Detroit, it ain’t gonna be pretty for Hillary or the Democrat party. You are going to see one p.o.’d voting block. Black voters will not stand for their boy getting ripped off by no cracker.
Obama is most certainly not beatable. Especially by McCain.
Vote for Hillary. One, it keeps Obama and Hillary targeting each other. Two, it causes both of them to spend campaign money against each other. Three, it is really entertaining to watch. Four, Hillary is more beatable than Obama. Five, losing the presidency guarantees she won’t get a future nomination so we’ll never see her again, combining the fact she’ll be too old to run again and get anyone behind her. Six, when she is beaten, it will be that much sweeter to her get as literally as close as possible to the presidency she thinks she is owed, only to have come SO FRICKIN close and LOSE IT. She will lose her damn mind and it will eat her up for as long as she lives.
Keep them fighting each other, spending money and vote for the lesser, more beatable, high negatve Hillary. Then when she loses the general election she’ll got abso-fricin monkey nuts that she came so close but just didn’t have the ability to pull it off.
DITTO. Drive the stake home.
Currently the Dems have a 77 or so point lead in estimated electoral college votes. So whoever you vote for will probably be the next President. Choose wisely. Both will be horrible.
Remember, you have no idea where Hillary will take the country. The Bill presidency is not an indication. She is a known liar and now has two convicted foreign bundlers (Hsu and Jammal). Those foreigners want something for their money.
Most of Obama’s money seems to be coming from real Americans.
Abortion. Iraq. FISA. The Patriot Act. Those are some key differences between McCain and both Democrats. Iraq is especially important to me - we’re making so much progress there, and Democrats will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Such a move would embolden every terrorist with a grudge against this country.
I realize we have our disagreements with McCain. But as Ronald Reagan often said, better to compromise and get some of what you want, than to get nothing at all.
How do you think we ended up with this turd McCain? He was picked for us by democRATs who voted in OUR open state primaries, and declared the anointed one by the media.
They picked him for us. The ONLY good thing about him is his pro-life stance, and that's it.
Precisely. I have been ranting along the very same lines for the past two weeks, at least. It is staggering to hear prominent conservatives revealing Obama's positions, etc., before H has even lost the primary. What are these people thinking? Even Rush Limbaugh seems to have gone mad, with his encouraging people to vote for her "just to keep the chaos going" until the fall.
This is a very dangerous game that they're playing.

If she is elected, none of us will be able to sleep for years.
