It does sound as if the production of the airframe will be moved to the US for both military and commercial version..so we may be gaining in the longer run.

If the European contractor can do a better job with American labor, super. But politics shouldn’t enter into this at all. Nothing wrong with objective oversight, but the military should know what it needs and who to procure it from. A functioning air force is infinitely more important than drumming up business for Illinois, inc.
