I really , really like that congress is upset but why can’t we build our own? I’m concerned about security in France also.

Both Aircraft are a mesh of foreign and domestic parts, Cindy. I like Boeing best for safety and reliability in commercial aircraft, but I see nothing wrong with this. Airbus holds a lot more fuel, has GE engines and will bring 7000 jobs to Alabama.
I am not sure security in France will weigh too heavily into this. I certainly understand why there would be concerns though, but I think the Pentagon just picked the best plane, or at least thought they did.
Build it in China and make everybody happy.
Congress sold American workers out for one dinky plant in Alabama-Sessions is a ....I can’t say it. This is a real slap in the face. Of course, a Republican the Alabama Senator was on Lou Dobbs defending this awful decision.
At first glance, I was going to say that the Air Force should choose the best plane, but then it occured to me Americans can make the best plane.
France is infested by jihadists. this is not good!
I would urge everyone to e-mail or call their representatives about this. Why should we have a European company building products that we need to defend our country?
