What if they need more medium wide bodies in the near future? They just got authorization to fly to LHR. An order for 767-400’s could get filled a lot faster than for the 787-8 or 787-9. Also, they just announced a new 40 seat lie flat business class seat configuration from Thompson Solutions for their 767-400’s. Isn’t the earliest delivery date now for a 787 in the 2013-14 range?
Georgia is certainly a right to work state. It didn’t save the garment industry. Texas is one of the few states to benefit from NAFTA because they are a border state. However, something, needs to be done about manufacturing because of the national security implications. A country incapable of manufacturing its own weapons from start to finish can not be considered secure and will very likely not remain free for long. Also, we can not have states hurting like Ohio, Michigan and New York-it breeds instability and will lead to new liberal perhaps even socialist programs.
As for the union thing, GM is now paying new hires $14.00 per hour-no health care and no one gets retirement anymore. I think that is all that needs to be said.
This thing is DOA. Watch.
“What next? Build our Aircraft Carriers in Europe too?”
No France already proved they can’t build one of those.
When the communists take power in France you wont be getting any parts.
And the ones you do get will cost 10 times as much.
Been there done that.
