Look at the demographics. It's southern democrats. It means McCain wins the south by even larger margins than he would have otherwise. Doesn't help the electoral college unless some of these voters live in Ohio, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Missouri, Arkansas, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin (off the top of my head).
In fact, this would explain why recent polling is showing McCain ahead of Hussein in popular vote but way behind in the electoral vote.

I can tell you right now, Hussein will not win Wisconsin. I’ll keep ya posted as the months pass.

True. And it's only the latter that matters.

My family is made up of a bunch of FDR Democrats. They live in West Virginia and Southern Ohio.
Every single one of the men are planning to vote McCain. They absolutely HATE Hillary. They won't tell me why they won't vote for Obama, but I have a pretty good idea.
Based on the results of this poll, they are not alone.

Do you have a link to those polls?
