And, despite what the author of this screed wants to think, lynching party has entered the lexicon of phrases to describe almost any attack against an individual or group that smacks of mob hysteria.

That, or variations of that line, pass through the lips unchecked and unnoticed by Americans everywhere, and there is never any racial connotation to it. It's just something that people say.
What makes this statement seem racist to a hysterical white Republican hating professional race pimp was solely the fact that it was said by a white Republican regarding the dumb statement of a Black woman.
He should have been more careful, no question about it, but I don't think for a moment he would have phrased it any different if he had been talking about a McCain goof, a Bush blunder, or anything similar.
At this point I think there was no ill intent.
It will soon be - make that it is NOW dangerous for any white person to open their mouth and let words come out.

I agree. Michelle Obama (to me) shows a lack of many things. Dignity, spirit, allegience, honor, and trust.
