...what changes would you make to improve the " Moonlight Sonata?"

Too many notes. Remove some...

Oh yeah, Rush apes him, and often slips into “Buckley mode,” imitating his aristocratic accent.

I have an eBay store and sell a lot of books there.

When I came home tonight, I find my book has OVER 9,000
hits on the the hit counter and that it SOLD today, too.

There is the photo of it from the listing.

Just wondering what the reaction of the Daily Kook and DU have been?

I took a peek at DU earlier. It was more vile than I anticipated. I’ve never seen a recently-deceased liberal get treated - at Freerepublic -the way that most of the DUers spoke of Mr. Buckley today.

You had to have a dictionary and a thesaurus to read his writings.

May God bless him and his family in heaven.

a caller to bill bennett’s ‘MORNING IN AMERICA’ radio show
recounted mr buckley’s retort when someone asked him why
bobby kennedy would never debate him on FIRING LINE over his desire to pull out of vietnam.....

when asked why kennedy avoided the show...

BUCKLEY replied....’he avoids it for the same reason Baloney avoids the Grinder..’

hahahaaha

Bill Buckley will laugh at the ignorant &/or crooked libs for eternity

He knew those Socialist haters were going to curse and deride him when he left and had a smile on his face knowing that he drove them nuts for 82 years

It can’t hurt him if they deride him now and they just show their meaness because he got the best of them for all those years.

The libs never bested him

I heard an old radio audio of William F. Buckley debating that sleeze Gore Vidal on Rush’s show today

Vidal got nasty and vicious and Buckley gave it right back to him and more

Yes - he called Gore Vidal what he is and did not spare him -

Unlike McCain and the RNC telling people not to call Baraka Hussein O’Bomber his own name “Baraka Hussein O’Bomber”

Now O’Bomber and the democrats is crying about him being labled a “liberal”

No photos, no religious or family ties or actual names to be used according to MSM and the DNC

Can you imagine what that sleeper would do if he was elected?

It surprises me that McCain would not use the muslim background of Obama’s family if he gets the nomination.

The MSM always seem to run things but all of that stuff will be exposed by “others”. I even see it in my newspaper.

I saw an article yesterday that I wanted to post to badly, but I’m trying to keep out of the fray. As it said, the conservatives are defeating themselves by fracturing into groups and fighting each other instead of our enemy, the dem agenda.

Yup

The Republicans and Conservatives will do the work of the democrats and even do campaign research the lefties can use

And the democrats like Hillary & O’Bomber plant photos and stories and then blame the “nasty right wingers” for them

McCain has no problemo cursing out a fellow Republican Senator on but seems to still think the MSM and “other side of the aisle” will respond with tenderness and love

[The Republicans and Conservatives will do the work of the democrats and even do campaign research the lefties can use]

They have done a good job of it, slowly picking off one contender after another and now they cry foul because we will end up with McCain.

We said at the start that we didn’t have a ‘perfect’ candidate’, but each group still fought against some of the more conservative ones.

I long for the days when we wholeheartedly were fighting Al Gore, or John Kerry!!

And now McCain is fighting Republicans!

He expects to get Indys and moderates and even some dems

I have some of my own carefully considered thoughts about how dems, radicals, centrists, Indys, others will vote in Nov but I sure will not post them on an open thread on the internet

Let the left and others spin - I’m not going to give them any tips or ammo

I just was reading on a thread by a well known freeper, who said Hillary would be harder to beat next November. Also said she would probably win Texas but for pubs NOT to cross over and vote for either her or Obama in the primary.

Most threads have ‘thought’ Obama would be harder to beat in November - and - if Hillary will be harder to beat, why not cross over and vote against her?

See - everyone has their own views, but none have a crystal ball.

I see a logical voting pattern from dems is November 2008

It will not agree with their high primary vote totals

Remember - the libs primary voting totals in “Red States” means very little in November

The current polls in Florida may give a good forecast of the Nov voting

It will reflect historical dem patterns going back over 160 years

It will also reflect new left divisons

There will also be record illegal voting by dems who have very high convicted felon %ages

It is possible any dems and libs will not vote at all or will vote Republican this year - and likely many will now do so in 2012 and in 2016 also

Picking the 2 most radical Senators in Congress as the “Final Two” was not a bright move - but then Howard Dean is the DNC Chairman isn’t he?

About as much as I will comment on a thread on this
