The Clintons never give up. They just play even dirtier to get what they want. How can she give up if she is still not very far behind in delegates? Each will get a good chunk of the remaining delegates, but no one will have enough for the nomination until they get to the floor. The Clintons don’t care about anyone but themselves. They don’t give a damn about the party. I’m trying to envision her concession speech, but I just can’t get it in my head.
It is anyone’s guess what super delegates will do. Diane Watson is in a district in Los Angeles that went 62% Obama, but she is still with Hillary. The Clintons have raised huge amounts of money across the country for candidates. They are owed favors. Dodd is a long time friend, but he went to Obama today.
Russert really surprised me tonight. Hillary has to be angry as hell at him. I wondered if he sees that this is the end and he wanted to speed it along. Remember that he is the one who became physically ill when he watched Juanita Broaddrick’s interview. Maybe he sees that this genuinely evil couple is near the end and he could have some impact.
I’m not going to predict. We have never seen anything quite like this before. An empty suit vs a neo-Stalinist witch. Hillary may yet have a surprise for us. It may be something really evil.
Hillary will be the Dem nominee. She and Bill will do WHATEVER it takes, and ugly ain't the word for it. Hussein Osama better leave the galaxy, otherwise, he is political (and maybe even actual) snail food.
