Spunky, thanks for the input. can you imagine what it would be like if freerepublic wasn't around. how many would knwo this information? I am really kind of scared to look at you tube, to be quite honest. But I will. The award idea is appalling, shameful and dare I say....a non-Christian thing to do.

CA Guy, I had no idea about oprah....I quit paying attention to her (on a regular basis) years ago. I do remember her endorsement of Obama. But boy, she is a very influencial public figure now.
