O.K. Freepers; a little "lighten up" time here. Let's hear your choices for a VEEP for John McCain.
I personally think a very sharp, CONSERVATIVE woman with a Hispanic surname would help the ticket. How 'bout former Labor Secretary, Linda Chavez?

Attilla the Hun couldn’t move the ticket far enough right for me. McCain is waaaaaay out on the left of the party.

How about Penelope CruzShe certainly would bring a lot of *ahem* assets and qualifications *ahem* to the ticket, but I don't believe she's a natural born American. Ahh, who cares anyway...Constitution Monstitution...we can always make exceptions.

CONSERVATIVE woman with a Hispanic surname would help the ticket. Republicans don't choose people on race or gender - but on qualifications, let the rest fall where they may>
Good golly - choosing people first and foremost for gender and/or race is the demRats way

Who cares!I think anyone with half a brain will decline accepting the vp slot on this train wreck especially if that person has future aspirations.

A socialist is one who wants property and wealth distributed by the government. The means of production are controlled by the state. McCain (with his numerous negatives) is not a socialist. He is for smaller government, less spending, and extending the Bush tax cuts. McCain is many undesireable things....but not a socialist.

Assuming McCain wins....Just think, we’d be one heartbeat away from President Coulter. That’d be so cool. PC would go right out the door.

” personally think a very sharp, CONSERVATIVE woman with a Hispanic surname would help the ticket”.
What about a gay Jewish divorcee in a wheelchair from Oregon?
How about just a strong conservative who’s at least 10 younger than the Maverick cadaver. -Wb
