People don’t use very good common sense sometimes. Crossing the Secret Service isn’t a very bright move.
Did you see the earlier thread where an argument between two brothers-in-law suporting Obama and Hillary! respectively ended in a fight, with one stabbing the other? One’s in jail, the other in critical condition at the hospital.
Years ago, I was at an event where the U.S. Secret Service was providing protection for Corazon Aquino when she was president of the Philippines. People who wanted to listen to her speak had to have tickets for the event, and had to walk through a magnetometer.
A guy who looked like a college student with his girlfriend walked through the magnetometer, then said to her, “Well, they missed the gun I’m carrying.” He wasn’t carrying a gun, but I guess he thought it would be funny to say something like this to his girlfriend.
Secret Service personnel swarmed this idiot, slammed him into a wall, searched him, tore up his ticket, and threw him out.
Just as a comic aside, what would these guys do if the President’s at a fund-raiser, and a food fight breaks out? Would they take a guacamole for the President?
