A Texas state Capitol employee who police said wanted to go in the building Friday before a rally by presidential candidate Barack Obama threw a bowl of egg salad at a U.S. Secret Service agent who denied her access, according to an arrest affidavit.
Tracy Firsching, 47, is charged with assault on a peace officer, a third-degree felony for which she faces up to 10 years in prison.
According to the affidavit, Firsching started to go around police barriers when she was stopped by Secret Service agent Brian Sanders, who told her that she could not go in the secured area without an escort.
The affidavit said Firsching told Sanders that, “You’re going to have to arrest me” and attempted to go past him. Sanders grabbed her by the arm to turn her around when she threw a plastic bowl of egg salad at him and struck him in the face with the bowl, the affidavit said.
According to the affidavit, Sanders received a scratch that was “red and visible from several feet away” during the incident.
The article states she is a Texas state Capitol employee. maybe she was just trying to get to her job.

Good point. That girly man who had the Democrat nomination four years ago got three Purple Hearts for for less serious injuries.
i'm going to guess a history of mental disorders. did she bring enough egg salad for everyone at the rally? if not, she deserved this.

True. I’ve heard many times the discust the USSS had for the Clinton clan and their staff and handlers. The whole bunch treated USSS agents with disrespect, had little regard for the most elementary of security precautions almost as if to snub their noses at the SS agents trying to do their jobs.
