You would have to see La Vie En Rose to determine the deserving part. She's French, and that's all you need to know. They're charming one minute, then making anti-American comments to the press the next.

Marion Cotillard was wonderful in La Vie En Rose. Her performance was the only one I saw of those nominated. Given the fact that there was very little hype for the movie, (it was in French), I was surprised that she won. Her performance was of Oscar winning caliber.
