11:40 Explosion shakes northwestern city in Iran, cause unclear (Reuters)
I hope the good guys blew up a nuke facility.
TEHRAN (Reuters) - An Iranian official said on Monday construction work caused a blast in the northwestern city of Tabriz. "The workers were blasting the Einali mountain to build a road," an official in the Tabriz governor's office told Reuters by telephone.
It seems very unlikely that construction blasting well outside of town would break windows across the city. I am calling Bravo Sierra on this, meaning that the mullahs have something very serious to hide.
The football HE went off. I guess one or several of their nuclear bomb makers are dead.

Explosion in Tabriz caused by waste ammunition disposal: IRGC
Tabriz, Feb 25, IRNA
Tabriz-Explosion
The explosion heard in Tabriz on Monday has been caused by disposal of waste ammunition.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said that the 31st combat division of Ashura, an affiliate to IRGC, had destroyed the waste ammunition on suburbs of Tabriz.
IRNA reporter in Tabriz said that the explosion was strong enough to cause public anxiety.
The IRGC said in a statement that the ammunition waste disposal had been arranged so far and no damage was caused for the operators.
Maybe that was our first apology to Ahmed Amademigod.
Reminds me of this joke:
Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinejad calls President Bush
Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinejad calls President Bush and tells him, “George, I had a wonderful dream last night. I could see America, the whole beautiful country, and on each house I saw a banner.”
“What did it say on the banner?” Bush asks. Mahmud replies, “ALLAH IS GOD, ALLAH IS GREAT.”
Bush says, “You know, Mahmud, I am really happy you called. Last night I had a similar dream. I could see all of Tehran, and it was more beautiful than ever. It had been rebuilt completely, and on each house flew an enormous banner.”
“What could you see on the banners?” Mahmud says. Bush replies,
“I don’t know, I can’t read Hebrew.”
