Senator John McRINO aka John McCain is seeking the conservative base to unite with him. Many of us haven't forgotten that he never united with us. Whether it be on his kneepads courting Ted Kennedy or spearheading the ramming of amnesty down our throats, we haven't forgotten. This election offers little or no choice. In the words of Billy Preston "Nothing from Nothing Leaves Nothing."
Vote Third at the top. Make the RINO extinct. The only chance to end perpetual choice between two liberals.
And those who think that they can scare people who have lived through Jimmy Carter, the entire career of Ted Kennedy, Tip O'Neil, 70% effective tax rates, Harry Blackmun, Thurgood Marshall, Jim Wright, Barney Frank, the Clintons, etc., into voting for Mccain because of a lightweight boogeyman named Obama is either ignorant of history or smoking some high-grade weed.
RE: The Flag picture post #14
I have looked into this and this picture was taken — NOT during the Pledge of Allegiance BUT during our National Anthem. Many put their hand over their hearts, I often do. But it is not expected.
If we want any credibility we MUST look up our facts!!!! Another issue was Barack Hussein Obama’s not wearing a flag pin - that just can’t be used as an issue. My dad wore his and a 93 year next door wears his, and I’m proud of them!! But it is not THE sign of allegiance.
Not saluting the flag during our Pledge of Allegiance is an issue!!!!!! And if you have evidence of it, please let me know!!! I have been looking for pictures or words during a congress session where I remember hearing something about Barack Hussein Obama not pledging - but can’t find!!
I do fear Barack Hussein Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s allegiance to the United States. hillary clinton’s goal is greed - power, Bqarack Hussein Obama has me puzzled.
But our National Security is the first and main concern of the President of The United States.
Pick your poison socialism or imperialism. If I’m gonna have big brother I’d rather the have the globe spanning type.
Then look deeper than the current front runners.
In the supermarket do you simply look at the first few choices of meat or produce then accept a rotten product because it isn’t as rotten as some others? Do you stop looking or do you dig a little deeper?
Why accept a presidential candidate that is just the least rotten?
Do you REALLY want a Democrat president and Harry Reid controlling the nominations of the next 1 to 3 Supreme Court justices?
—
Apparently some Freepers do (not me). After years of complaints about Hillary and the Dems, some people are more than anxious to hand power over to them completely. It’s pathetic.
Nope. At this stage best to vote for Huckabee.
Bush is a good man, a compassionate man, but he is not a conservative.
Blah, blah, blah. It’s him or a Muslim in the White House.
As opposed to supporting "100 years in Iraq" McCain?
You realize that McCain does not have the money nor the numbers to defeat Obama, do you? And you also realize that the majority of Americans want the war to wind down so they're going to vote for the Rats, right?
I'd rather have the troops come home under Paul then to be under Obama's command.
But McCain is also feeble and not in the best of mental state.
exactly
and in my opinion if someone doesn’t vote for Mccain(he wasn’t my pick by any means in the primaries)they are stabbing our troops in the back, end of story
McCain still doesn’t want to unite with conservatives. He just wants our votes. I think McCain is the biggest mistake the Republican Party has ever made, pure party suicide, but here he is. A lot of people think Obama is a bigger mistake, and they may be right. This is what our choices have come to. Neither of these clowns should ever be allowed anywhere near the White House.
Topic pretty well covered on this FR thread
Hey, hey... ho, ho
left wing radicals of the party
have to GO!
The MSM selected McCain for us, but Obama is a bigger problem.
Imagine Hillary as a life member of the Supreme Court.
We would never be rid of her.
when A’jad announces he has just given Israel the radiation
treatment he’s been promising, I don’t want a President who
wants to discuss our differences with him. I want a President who will vaporize him. That wouldn’t be either
Barak or Hillary.
If McCain stays there for a 100 years, there WILL be a draft and there WILL be more billions spent, billions that we do not have. Now we shouldn't leave immediately but there's no way in Hell we should stay there for 100 years either.
And tens of thousands of Iraqis would have been betrayed. Do you care if that happens? Does the honor of our country matter to you?
I don't care about the Iraqis. They're a sovereign country now and should have took the reins months ago. What about our soldiers on longer troop deployments?
2. Those that think there is no difference between a moderate republican and a hard left democrat are either closed minded or too ignorant to bother debating.
John McCain is not a "moderate." Look, the guy actually contemplated on becoming a Democrat before Jeffords switched. He is no friend to conservatives, and it's all moot anyway because he does not have the money or the numbers to defeat Obama. He will not bring out the conservative base for him and the moderates-independents will just vote for Obama. It's better to just focus on the Congressional races. The presidential election is a wash.
I’d like to hear B1 Bob on McCain. Do you have a source?
Getting behind McCain would only be as a lesser of two evils, like the decision made by the brave people of the 9/11 flight over Pennsylvania.
Then look deeper than the current front runners.
Come on into the real world. If our beloved conservatives cannot get out of the single digits in the primaries, they will not be on the ballot in November. We don't have to like this situation, but we do have to face reality. When we hit the voting booth in November, we will most likely face a choice between McCain and either Hillary or Obama. The way I see it (in math terms) is:
Mccain > Obama >>> Hillary.
