I just saw the new movie "27 Dresses" - the title refers to the large closetful of bridesmaid dresses which the Katherine Heigl character keeps from the 27 wedding parties she has been in (pretty hard to imagine how someone manages to be a bridesmaid 27 times, but it's just a movie......). Pretty funny movie, that one....

I had 5, and I’ve had what I would consider a fairly small group of women friends. So.... I could actually picture 27 for very social people. :~)

All taffeta parade float gowns. All hideous.
