We may have President Obama. A nuclear Iran. Hezbollah testing their limits. Israel on a hair-trigger survival footing. Saudi royals looking over their shoulder nervously. Revolution in Cuba. Chavez reminding us he's still there. China rising. Pakistan falling. Russia trying to regather its lost empire. India prospering. Africa starving and killing (not exactly a new phenomenon). Soros and the other rich globalists frantically tugging on strings. Democrats focused on retreat and universal healthcare. The UN continues to eat and drink and make resolutions against the West (also not a new phenomenon). Global warming, global cooling, global jihading. Demographics replacing entire national cultures with alien theocracies. Democrats replacing entire national cultures with alien democracies.
We will see some interesting times. So many cultures have pointed to 2012 as some kind of Big Event. Maybe they knew something after all. I'm stocking up on popcorn and ammo. And don't forget clean water, nonperishable food and batteries. Oh yeah, duct tape and plastic too. Fired up, ready to go. Yes we can.
I believe he would have best served his purpose by throwing two liberals off the building.
There were monks who would set themselves on fire in protest of certain types of political regimes they felt were so bad that only that could get their point across.
This is tragic, but I don’t think this automatically gets classified under ‘he was mentally unstable’.
You don't?? I tend to think of suicide as a near-automatic proof of mental illness. Perhaps the only exception being people with terminal illness.

Anybody can die for a cause.
It takes real courage and strength to live for a cause.
I called the funeral home. They were unwilling to discuss the cause of death and are apparently unaware of the deceaseds suicide note on the web.
I called the coroner. They said I would have to call tomorrow and speak with one of the doctors concerning the cause of death.
I read Ronbo, mostly via The Midnight Sun. This is very sad, and cause for reflection. He was a patriot who loved his country very much.
He wrote “...who loves God and Country.” He may have loved one too much and the other too little.

In the Obit it says age 47, in that about forums link they say he’s 52.
Thanks for the links.

My take is that the Ronbo character was simply a literary alter ego like Winston Smith was Orwells literary alter ego.
Writers do this all the time.
Clearly the Socrates of Plato is not the real Socates but a literary creation of Plato.
The bigger question was missed by everyone: Perhaps Ronbos creator was not Ronald Barbour, but in fact someone else? I mean after all we do have the picture of the dead hiker Ronald Barbour for the Ronbo-Ronald-Barbour. I would think this could indicate that the Ronbo-Ronald-Barbour was dead before the first article was published.
