Obama: 'I'm skinny, but I'm tough'

AUSTIN -- Under a bright moon shining on the Texas Capitol, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama told a boisterous Austin crowd Friday night that he has the mettle to match his rhetoric and is ready to the lead the nation in a new direction after eight years of Republican rule.

"I'm skinny, but I'm tough," a feisty Obama said with a bit of mock indignation. "Listen, I'm a black guy named Barack Obama running for president. You can't say I'm not tough."

-SNIP- Obama also used his Austin stop to address head-on some of the whispers about him that have spread over the Internet.

"You know what? He's a Muslim," he said with a mocking voice. "Well, I've been going to the same Christian church, praying to Jesus for the last 20 years. So don't insult me, and don't insult the Muslims."

Does his being gay differentiate him from Hillary? Skinny certainly does.

"Well, I've been going to the same Christian church, ....for the last 20 years",

Yeah Hussein, we all know about your black nationalist Marxist "pastor."

...the Rev. Jeremiah "white America got a wake up call after 9/11" Wright.

You can also call him a half-breed. Infuriates them.

As my own children are mixed race, I wouldn't think of it. Is Mulatto an offensive name? I've spent so much time amongst Brasilians and the color thing doesn't mean much to me. Never did. When someone asked me if I was, at one point in my life, going to marry "a brown girl" I said "hell, yeah". They didn't get invited to the wedding.

One of my buddies asked me about Americans who are racist. They seemed to think at the time that all Americans didn't like black people. He made coal like "light". I answered in Portuguese "O que um arco-iris com so uma cor?" or "What is a rainbow with but one color?". Good answer, got a big laugh, and it was true to my feelings.

I don't care if Barack's a mulatto. I do care that he's a skinny socialist. Enough to turn me on him with that.

"I'm skinny, but I'm tough,"

Obamas first baby came out sideways, didn't let out a peep.

“his EARS and their size piss him off.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

They probably remind him of the fact that he is AT LEAST half white and possibly more. Take away the “first black” thing and he wouldn’t get a second glance from voters. This is beginning to be scary, I am actually hearing white men in their fifties, sixties and even older saying,”I like Obama”. Is someone spraying invisible stupid gas all over this nation? It is beginning to seem that the only people who can’t be fooled by this charlatan are the “uneducated rednecks”.

McCain will not hesitate to use his race against him. Reagan was a pro at that. McCain is ROUGH, and this little twerp being black wouldn’t bother him at all. All McCain would have to do is make a crack about his Dumbo ears....

That's a bunch of malarky. Google McCain and his wife. They would never use Obama's race against him. Neither would I.

The term "magic negro" was written about Obama by a black, liberal commentator in the LA Times. It's a term that blacks use to describe how some whites view certain blacks.

Want to bet? McCain will use about ANYTHING to win it. Remember, he was the guy who said Chelsea Clinton was so ugly because Hillary was her mother, and Janet Reno was her father? Nasty, but it was also a shot across Hillary’s fat bow about her being a Lesbian. There are ways to do it.
