Tonys back on the air. I hope he brought his cuss jar.
Tony is now the substitute teacher on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, airing from 12:00pm - 2:00pm on a station near you.
I believe that this will be a regular feature on Fridays, since I understand Mr. O likes long weekends.
Many of you want to give Tony a piece of your mind, here's your chance.
All you have to do is get through the call screener. I heard a rumor that Helen Thomas subs on Fridays.
Bob: The NYT didn’t want to be scooped by The New Republic.
How do you get scooped by an outfit that just makes up its stories.
And what do you do about it, make up an even bigger story.
Yea for Snow!
Hope your health and family are all top notch!
dinasour, missed this ping—was on the other thread. (: That’s what comes from not paying attention and reading all my pings. I’ve been listening to Tony since noon.
Tony, your first 15 minutes were totally awesome and were a blessing to all of us, but especially those who may have cancer also. I hope you are seriously considering writing a book; your message needs to be heard by those who are struggling. Your Mother would have been so proud of her son who embodies so many of the same qualities as our beloved President, George W. You are an inspiration and a blessing to all of us. Thank you!!
What an honor to hear Marcus, the Marine just back from Iraq giving a first-hand report.
We Snowflakes have a weekly date now. You must have heard all these voices calling out in the wilderness!
Yep. Like I said on the other thread, we need to get our old spirit back. Tony can help.
Those who listened unwarily to that voice could seldom report the words that they heard; and if they did, they wondered, for little power remained in them.
Mostly they remembered only that it was a delight to hear the voice speaking, all that it said seemed wise and reasonable, and desire awoke in them by swift agreement to seem wise themselves. When others spoke they seemed harsh and uncouth by contrast; and if they gainsaid the voice, anger was kindled in the hearts of those under the spell.
For some the spell lasted only while the voice spoke to them, and when it spake to another they smiled, as men do who see through a jugglers trick while others gape at it. For many the sound of the voice alone was enough to hold them enthralled; but for those whom it conquered the spell endured when they were far away, and ever they heard that soft voice whispering and urging them.
But none were unmoved; none rejected its pleas and its commands without an effort of mind and will, so long as its master had control of it.
Tolkiens The Two Towers: The Voice of Saruman.
Good catch. Interesting.
Great Post! You are SO RIGHT ON on this one!

Is he still on? I just got in.
“McCain and I have differences, but he sure isnt letting the NYT run over him.”
My husband and I have differences, but I’m not throwing him over for the other side! I’m not perfect either! :)
Thanks. Are there any nurses on here today?
Husbands everywhere depend on that sentiment.
We woke up to our first snow here in the Philadelphia area—first time this year my husband had to shovel the driveway. Now I know it was a God Wink, bringing us our Snowman.
DItto that for me.

This is our first really significant snow, as well. There have been a number of storms, but they all seemed to miss us.

GREAT to hear your voice. My FRiend.
