There was an extraordinary development at a hearing today in Los Angeles Superior Court in the Paul v Clinton et al civil fraud case against Bill and Hillary Clinton, prosecuted by Hillary’s largest donor Peter Paul. When Judge Munoz finally allowed Paul to commence discovery after a three year “appellate” hiatus, Hillary Clinton’s attorney declared that none of Hillary Clinton’s lawyers would accept a deposition subpoena on Hillary’s behalf.
Hillary will be dodging process servers while she is campaigning for President of the United States around the nation!! The sworn testimony Paul is entitled to take from Hillary as a former defendant and material witness that the Judge specifically stated he will not allow to be denied, is now being officially thwarted by Senator Hillary R Clinton!
Hillary has now made history again in her contempt for the Rule of Law. The problem is, and Hillary's Ace-In-The-Hole --- her Secret Service protection detail. They won't let anyone near her and she knows it. In effect she's immune from personally being served with a summons. Odds are oh ... 1000-1 that's why her lawyers refused to accept it.
I would love to see Brit Hume drop it on her on a Fox News Sunday show. God, I would love that.

All it would take is a request by the LA judge to a favorable US judge to direct the US Marshals to serve the papers. It is my understanding that because the target is an officer of the US it can be a federal servings.
Keep in mind that anyone who rides a motorcycle WILL go down at some point. My wreck left me with 3 cracked ribs. Unfortunately, this officer was killed doing her duty - protecting a candidate as directed by her superiors.
The fact that it was Hillary is neither sinister nor pertinent, IMO.

I hope this waits until the Dem nomination is over. We want Hillary ruined, but not now when it would clear the path for Obama. If Hillary beats out Obama for the nomination, then there will be enough disillusioned people in the MSM that this story might actually get covered. We want her ruined during the General Election.
Perhaps they should ask Obama to serve her when they next meet for a debate. Imagine her suprise when she walks out to shake his hand and instead is given a subpoena. hehe

I don’t think so. Otherwise it would be impossible to sue a person or business outside of your state and the state courts would have no power at all. A summons from a California court is as valid in Texas as it is in California.

Even the SS cannot interfere with matters of the court. Besides, she presents PLENTY of opportunities to be served as she goes out glad handing the peasants. Simply put it in her hand when she reaches for a handshake and say, “You have been served”. With cameras rolling to record it, of course.
