I personally think recognizing Kosovo’s claim of independence is going to come back to haunt us for decades to come.

I'm with you. It seems needlessly destabilizing of the region, pointlessly antagonistic to Russia, and despite the stupid self-defeating posture of the EU, does Europe no favors.

It encourages a trend though, of supporting the splintering off of microstates(E Timor, Gaza, "Palestine"), inflaming ethnic enclaves everywhere, and to what end one can only guess. What of the Kurds, finally? This cannot bode well for more consequential nations, like us, when indigenous separatists groups begin to stir.

I couldn’t agree more. Bush will be convicted by the law of unintended consequences. “GUILTY!”

This will just make the claim that much more sweet when the majority of certain states want to break off into Aztlan.

Come to think of it, that law probably doesn’t apply. What seems to us like a move of ignorance, may very well be a move of convenience.

There’s little doubt where the globalists are headed.
