In 1979 I carried a gun. I had a permit to do so. It was a 9 mm Browning automatic with 14 rounds in a clip. The reason I had a weapon was because I handled large sums of money, and my boss suggested that it might be a good idea. I carried my 9 mm every time I went out...

Nitwit! IF everybody was armed people would tend to be less "impulsive" because the "target" could shoot back.
“It was a 9 mm Browning automatic with 14 rounds in a clip.”
Arrest that felon! Automatic weapons are prohibited.
I’m growing weary of these talking heads, stuffed shirts and empty suits pontificating on concepts over which they have no command and in which they have little understanding.
In my view, gun control is: Solid stance, clear sight picture, control the breathing, and squeeze the trigger.
It’s in the tagline.
GMTA
most of them don’t realize the dark powers that are manipulating them, though. They are do gooders and think that the lack of guns will be good. They are deceived by the darkness playing like the good guy in their minds. The fhu.com has a really great “be still” free download for those who would like to become free from the insanity that works through our minds. We are living in a matrix, it’s difficult to see lost in thoughts.
Don't read the rest of the letters at the link, then. Pretty much all of them advocate disasterous socialist ideals of some kind or another.
Also, EVERYWHERE carry laws have been loosened, "impulsive" shootings have dropped, not increased. The "blood in the streets" doom and gloom never happens. Same for road rage.
Speaking personally, I find that carrying a firearm makes me feel more confident and less apt to get angry over stupid stuff. Quite the opposite of the authors idiotic premise.
I had to lock mine in a safe because they were going out drinking and fighting at night.
Beat me to it. I could have saved myself the typing had I read further down the thread before posting. ;-)
Then here’s another one from Fred you might enjoy!

In fact, it doesn't. In state after state that has passed concealed carry laws, the violent crime rate went down.
How do the leftists respond when such evidence refutes their cherished beliefs?
Why, they lie about it...
In 1979? This is code for "I am a jagoff who watched Serpico too many times."
Supported by the fact that he never bothered to learn the difference in a "clip" and a "magazine".
I hope the paper that published this gets a few rebuttals to this lackey of the silky pony...
So I had to threaten them with taking away their ammo for a week. That settled them down.
That's the P-G for you. Capitalism built Pittsburgh but these people somehow believe socialism will revive it.
sorry.. lol
The only firearm I had with “clips” was an Enfield .303, and that used Stripper Clips !!
From the article: “When the year ended I sold the gun back to the gun shop I bought it from, for what I paid for it. I was glad it was gone.”
Fred...you did the right thing. We are all safer by your actions. Just be hopeful that someone without your confused sense of morality is around to help you out when the fecal matter comes in direct contact with the rotating air current generator.
Lock and Load.
Nomenclatures
Early on, self loading rifles and pistols were called “automatics”
and most people understood they reloaded automatically, but were not machine guns
Now people are so ignorant that they figure “automatic” is a machine gun that can empty itself with one trigger pull...
“It was a 9 mm Browning automatic with 14 rounds in a clip.”
No, it wasn’t.
Those who beat their swords into plow shears will plow for those who do not!
Famous quote
Man alive, that would cause waves or orgasmic pleasure all through the congress if they were to read that. I bet some of the elder statemen would absolutely die in a state of ecstatic euphoria.
Fred is a complete idiot in the same vein as the nazi youth!
I am literally more afraid of people like him than murderers and terrorists.
