Even before McCain became the nominee which state had more Republicans voting than Democrats... (including those liberal independents that gave McCain his title) To date more liberals have turned out to vote than have Republicans.

But that happens in almost every presidential election cycle. Nobody will agrue that Repubs are not as energized as the dems...but it is very foolish to predict general election results/turnout based on primaries that are taking place almost a full year before the general.
I am NOT predicting the outcome. I am only reflecting upon what is up to this day. Two candidates have at the very fiber of their being an they are OWED the position of presidency.... NOT for any particular public good... just look what they claim makes each the better person for the job. Hillary says she is experienced and McCain says he is ready day one for the job.
The under 50 voters are NOT impressed with these two so along comes Obama and he fits the profile of what diversity training means in this day and age. Now people can hold on to FEAR for only so long and both Clinton and McCain are candidates that instill FEAR, there is nothing comforting or leading about either of them.
I will. With the performance Republican politicians have turned in the last 6 years, many Republicans are saying “whats the point?”
