They used to run races on there.
Not yet....hopefully, this year we will go.
I don’t think they do anymore, and they have pulled all sports from that channel.
South Texas always makes the races. Maybe I can join y’all in the fall.
This could be the latest race run in recent memory... Jr. has completed, what, 40 laps of the 86 already run? Get some rest, and I’ll be up late, then early lol.
Yeah it’s been 2-3 years, I can’t remember.
That would be fun!
Fox says final decision in 40 minutes....10pm central time...
I still have radio comm, no voices but clicking....someone is testing their radio.
I just got off the phone cancelling my track pass before my 14 trial expired. you can sign up online but have to call the 800 # to cancel.
I’d bet that Fox TV will have it on in 35 minutes IF the race begins, again.
The latest I can remember is the 1997 Coca-Cola 600, which ended around 1:15 am local time (and shortened to 333 laps from 400 due to time issues - otherwise it could have been after 2:00 am if there were a lot of cautions in those final 67 laps - and who knows with exhausted drivers).
Great memory from eleven years ago. That must have been a tough call if it had nothing to do with track conditions.
We had a couple of race threads that ran to the wee hours of the morning.
I sure remember those, but can’t remember the track. I know one had a curfew time on noise, I think Bristol.
Stopped raining and the dryers have been on the track for about 45 min
Nascar pit stats says that all the drivers 2nd pitstop was 1200+ seconds long.
I agree, the fans also had to be accounted for - it can take 2-3 hours to clear the grandstands and parking lots, and it becomes a safety issue with exhaustion both on and off the track.
I don’t think Bristol has a noise curfew? Maybe Richmond?
I think this one, if it continues, will have to run without me.
ROFLMAO
